Street Art in Strasbourg, France

My colleague “Florence”, loves to plan trips with me in mind as the driver. When her lovely friend came to visit her, she asked if I might want to join them on a day trip to Strasbourg, France…and help drive, of course! I accepted, since I’d heard the city was beautiful.

Off we went one Saturday morning. It was a gorgeous 2 hour drive from Kaiserslautern, DE through farmland and over hills. On the way, we passed distinct families of cows. One cow family was beige, another red, the third group was black and white, and the last one was all white.  We were captivated by those cows. When we arrived in Strasbourg and parked, a random guy told us we were in walking distance of a market and the great Cathedral in the center of town. We headed that way and found fun souvenirs such as pouches with names on them, scarves, and a doll for Florence, who apparently collects them.

We stumbled upon an antiques flea market, then watched a street artist sketch people in less than 10 minutes. I got in line, and this was the result!
